Western Caribbean Cruise

We were on the Radiance of the Seas Western Caribbean cruise on November 04/28. This was our second cruise with Royal Caribbean with our first year of the last great adventure of the Seas. After a cruise with RCI, I expected roughly the same standards with the splendor and, in general, I was not disappointed.

Cabins:

Our cabin was in a cabin in the stern and we were not disappointed. It 'was quite spacious and the lighting was adequate. Closet space and drawerswere sufficient for our use. We found that the double here, actually a bit 'better than we have had the good fortune, since he could not really feel the split between the two beds, as we did last time. If there is anything that can be improved is the shower curtain. One was installed sufficiently consistent throughout the shower. The adventure uses a double glass door that was far superior to the shower. Otherwise, the cabin was beautiful andDark night of sleep. Although we heard a small noise from the cabins next to us was minimal. We did not lose a window or balcony at all, because almost never in our cabin. We were both at the port or elsewhere on the ship and returned to our cabin to relax or sleep. We would definitely book an inside cabin again with RCI, if we had a free upgrade.

Food & Drink:

The Cascades main dining room was beautiful and meals were good. B has the same menuevery morning. Lunch in the dining room was okay. Dinner was good, but not every meal item was a winner. There was the odd appetizer and dessert that is not up to par. One thing that my partner was noted that the portions of the main courses seemed to be less than that served in adventure. We went to the top of the rule to the Windjammer to get more food after dinner at the Cascades. In some parts of the Cascades area, the tables were placed too cramp, then go from their desktopwas sometimes difficult. The SB Windjammer was good. Normally, a wider choice of food was served, as the bottom of the falls. Breakfast and lunch were busy at the Windjammer but during evenings, most people chose to dine at the Cascades. The two other optional restaurants onboard Portafino Chopper and the House were at $ 20 per person is available, but we never tried because their meals already included in the Cascades and Windjammer of us were in order. The other passengers must go, thisoptional rooms told us that they are nothing special. It 'been another coffee during the late evening, called the Seaview and they provided fare such as sandwiches, salads and burgers. It 'been a nice feature. One thing we did was the subject of them were charged for coffee and tea. There was also a special coffee place on the main centrum of the ship and are also charged. We had more availability of beverages on the Adventure of punishment.

Service:

TheService through the crew and staff dining room was first rate as expected.

Entertainment:

The evening shows at the Aurora Theatre is a mixture of the ship's crew of dancers and singers and some were outside comics and singers. In general, the shows were very good. We would like instead to mix entertainment every night allocate music, comedy and magic have different evenings. Instead of an entire magic show, we would have preferred that every nightwith a variety of entertainment. Live music throughout the vessel was added a nice touch.

Facilities:

Although the smallest adventure had the Radiance of services including fine gym / spa, mini golf, swimming and shopping. But there was no Internet access at 50 cents per minute, the service is a bit 'steep. There were things during the days at sea, as well as art auctions, cooking demonstrations and dance lessons. However, we felt it offered more for the adventure. As withInside and out, was no problem on the Radiance. The 6th Stage including the casino and non-smokers, this was a problem. The ventilation in the casino was not great, and traveled later, cigarette smoke in adjacent areas near the casino. My partner wanted to avoid that, the 6 level when possible.

In summary, we enjoyed our cruise on the Radiance of the Seas. However, compares it with the greatest adventure of the Seas, the largest ship would have to voteslightly higher. We liked the huge promenade on the Adventure, which was not available on smaller vessels like the Radiance. In an election in the future, we should opt for larger ships. For first time cruisers, the Radiance still a good ship to vacation would be. This is simply where veteran cruisers would expect, especially if they were at the top ships.
