In July, Mahabaleshwar, a popular hill station in Maharashtra, India, receives heavy monsoon rains. We were lucky enough to attend less rainy day. The beauty of Mahabaleshwar is surprising in the monsoons. Venna Lake, known for its horse boating, and small shops with hot tea, corn, wheat paitice (patic Maka, a famous specialty dish) and carrots, entangled in the mist and showers.
