Making Chai Tea at home

Before we jump into how to make Chai tea, a little clarification is in order is not a tea called "chai tea '. This is a really good cup of tea as an ingredient. In some parts of the world, is just "Chai". In the United States is "Chai Tea" and refers to a spiced milk tea. Confused? Whether you call it Chai chai tea, or is this an absolutely delicious and very easy to drinkdo at home.

Most kitchens have the tools needed to make this drink at home - a pot and a sieve. The ingredients of chai are most likely already in your kitchen. To make your chai tea, you'll need water, tea leaves (preferably black), milk, honey or sugar and cinnamon or nutmeg. Brew tea for two cups (not too strong), add sugar or honey to taste and bring to a boil. Next, add half a teaspoon of cinnamon and nutmeg, and some brewten minutes. Finally add half a glass of milk and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, pour into a mug and enjoy! You can experiment with different spices, cane sugar as a sweetener or add a little 'chocolate. The preparation of chai tea at home provides an excellent opportunity to be creative. The tea is usually black tea of choice, but you can substitute tea for a different taste entirely different. Another key to add variety to the Chai is the choice of milk. whole milk orChai cream makes a delicious rich, but has a higher caloric content and can not be right as a common drink. Maybe you want to keep treating the rich chai tea for a special occasion and routine chai with skim milk. If you serve Chai tea to guests, add a dollop of whipped cream, sprinkled with a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.

There are of course other great recipes, some recipes call for ingredients and more time to prepare. For convenience, ChaiTea can also be purchased in powder or tea bags. This makes the process faster, but certainly not better. With little effort, you can drink deal with this fantastic home.
