Celestial Seasonings: Change, Growth, and the Value of Entrepreneurship

As a child growing up in Palmer Lake, Colorado, Mo Siegel wandered the spacious Rocky Mountains, picking up wild berries and mountain herbs along the paths he forged. It wasn't until years later, however, that his interest in those herbs would turn into a lucrative business called Celestial Seasonings. Passionate about art, Mr. Siegel opened a small art store in the late 1960s, eventually combining his two loves by creating a gallery and health food store. A tea drinker for years, he served Oriental herb tea to customers in his store, but he quickly realized that better tea could be created using the wild herbs from the nearby hillsides and canyons of the Rocky Mountains. Armed with a burlap sack and a couple of friends, Mr. Siegel harvested the herbs to create his first healthy blend, aptly named "Mo's 36 Herb Tea®" by the health food store that sold it. After the success of his first tea-making endeavor, Mr. Siegel decided that it was time to go into business with some long-time friends and began what has become the largest specialty tea manufacturer in North America. He has creatively developed many other business, technical and recreational items including: RFID applications, Money transfer processes through ATM's, on-demand business jet scheduling software to name a few. Coffee Fest has been celebrating coffee long before coffee was "hot". In 1992, they gathered coffee professionals together in Seattle for their first consumer coffee festival. After several years of hosting thriving events, Coffee Fest turned its focus toward the specialty coffee, gourmet tea and alternative beverage industry and brought retailers, distributors and manufacturers together for its first retail trade show in 1998.

Home care for hair growth

There is no sure way to prevent hair loss and promote hair growth. But there is a remedy, than you have at home, other people have helped to make. These are not drugs that have been studied by scientists and chemists, but they are treatments for hair that have not proven to work at home, but definitely worth a try.

A popular homemade hair growth, rosemary rinse. Rosemary is known to stimulate hair growth. Boil two cups of water, pour into¼ cup of dried rosemary and let stand until lukewarm. Then rinse your hair with this mixture and this is for the treatment of thinning hair and remove dandruff.

Massage and aromatherapy treatments are also effective home hair growth. Massage to stimulate your scalp to grow hair. Blend six drops of lavender and bay essential oils in four ounces of sesame or almond oil. Let stand for half an hour and wash with normal shampoo and rinse when you are sitting.
