How to Make Your Own Fruity Iced Tea

A popular addition to iced tea in many restaurants is flavored iced tea. Everyone knows about putting lemon in this drink, but this is a little different. The popularity of adding other fruits besides citrus is a delicious novelty.

An easy way to add fruit flavors to iced tea is to use fruit juices. Look on the shelves of the grocery store for the thousands of choices adding fruit extracts gives to iced tea. There is pomegranate juice, cherry juice, grape juice, orange juice, papaya juice and more. All impart their special flavor to make for an interesting combination.

Use both black tea and green tea to make this drink and fruit combination. Black tea has a strong flavor and does not need to have any special preparation. Green tea has a more delicate flavor.
